The brief to this project was too create signs to far away places but to also relate something about the destination. I chose four cities that are often thought of as constantly being snowy (even though they are not), and being in the middle of large expanses. I hand cut the type for these signs, hence the odd wonky letter or number, and embossed fabriano paper through an etching press.
